In the Clausura 2019 of the Primera División Paraguay Olimpia won the championship for the 44th time. The record champion won by six points ahead of his city rivals from Asuncion, Libertad. Top scorer was Olimpia's Roque Santa Cruz with 15 goals. CD Santaní and Deportivo Capiatá were relegated to the second division due to the weakest points record over the past three years.
