Rågsveds IF was formed in 1958 in connection with the World Cup in Sweden. A championship that was won by the technical and spectator-friendly Brazil. The Brazilians inspired an entire football world and so also the youth in Rågsved and Hagsätra, which led to the formation of Rågsveds IF.
