Der abstiegsbedrohte FC Sevilla hat nach den Mittelfeldspielern Hannibal (20; Man United) und Lucien Agoumé (21; Inter) ein weiteres Talent von einem Top-Klub ausgeliehen. Von Tottenham Hotspur wechselt Stürmer Alejo Véliz bis Saisonende nach Andalusien. Der 20-jährige Argentinier war im Sommer für 15 Millionen Euro von Jugendklub Rosario Central nach London gewechselt, wo er bis 2029 unter Vertrag steht. Seitdem kam Véliz aber nur zu zehn Kurzeinsätzen, in d enen ihm zwei Tore gelangen.

Sergio Ramos hat auf Klub- und Nationalmannschaftsebene so ziemlich alles gewonnen, denkt aber mit 38 Jahren offensichtlich noch nicht daran, seine Karriere zu beenden. Laut dem Portal „The Athletic“ steht der Abwehr-Altmeister in fortgeschrittenen Gesprächen mit dem San Diego FC, der ab der Saison 2025 als neues und dann 30. Mitglied an der nordamerikanischen MLS teilnimmt.
